Making Bolt in solid work using thread command

 Please follow the following steps


  • Select New Part.


  • Select Front plane.


  • Sketch a polygon size : 100mm.



  • Extrude the sketch (Features -----> Extruded Boss/Base) then select the mid plane.



  • Set the Depth 40mm then click Ok.



  • Now select any face of the object.



  • Draw a circle up to its end R50.



  • Apply the Extruded cut command ( Features -----> Extruded cut).



  • Click on the Flip side to cut then set the edges angle 45deg then click on ok.



  • Select any surface of the object.



  • Draw a circle R20.



  • Extrude the circle and set the depth 200mm.



  • Apply Thread command ( Insert----> Features---->Thread..).



  • Select the thread location.



  • Select the end thread  end location.



  • Set the Type : Metric Tap
  • Set the size : M90*4.30
  • Select Extrude Thread
If You want to Set the Type : Metric die then Select the Cut thread.



  • Bolt is ready change the color if you want.

L Key project in solid work using flex command

Please follow the following steps

  • Open the new part

  • Select the front plane.


  • Sketch a polygon.


  • Parameter : 5 and circle R20. OR it is your choice to set it.


  • Extrude your sketch and set the depth 250mm.


  • Select your object and apply flex command
  • insert----> Factures---->Flex...


  • Select bending
  • Angle : 90deg.
  • Plane 1 trimming distance : 70mm.
  • Plane 2 trimming distance : 160mm
  • Then click ok


  • Edit Appearance.


  • Select color.


  • Choose your favorite color then click on ok.


  • Your L key is ready.

SolidWorks Lofted Boss/Bass command Project

Please follow the following steps

  • Select the Front Plane.


  • Click on the spline.


  • Draw any shape.


  • Exit the sketch.


  • Insert ----> Reference Geometry ----> Plane


  • Distance between two planes 110mm.


  • Draw a circle R27.5 at plane 1.


  • Exit the sketch and select the 3D sketch.


  • Select the 3D sketch pane. Draw a Spline curve without any mid dot between sketch1 & sketch 2.


  • Select Features ----> Loft Bass/Boss


  • In Profile select Sketch 2 and Sketch 1. In Guide Curve select 3D sketch1.


  • Hide the plane 1.


  • Your project is Ready.
